Mmoalem's Comfyui-Focus-Mode Delivers Distraction-Free Node Control

Comfyui-Focus-Mode is a new extension for ComfyUI that lets you isolate a handful of nodes into a clean, full-screen panel. It hides all other nodes and wires, giving you a distraction-free view of the controls you need most. When you exit, every node returns to its original spot on the canvas.
The tool was created by developer Mmoalem, who grew frustrated with constant scrolling across large workflows. He wanted a way to quickly access loaders, prompts, and save nodes without leaving the ComfyUI canvas. The extension solves that by offering a focus mode that keeps those essential nodes grouped together.
A clutter-free panel for focused generation
- Right-click to add nodes to a focus panel.
- Hide all non-focus nodes and connections.
- Rearrange nodes inside the panel freely.
- Positions and selections saved with workflow.
- Toggle with Ctrl+Shift+P or toolbar button.
- Nodes return to original spots on exit.
This extension is ideal for anyone who builds large ComfyUI workflows but wants to streamline the generation phase. By focusing only on loaders, prompts, and save nodes, you can avoid scrolling and stay on a single screen. It is especially handy when you are satisfied with your workflow settings and just want to produce images or videos.
How it works and future plans
The extension temporarily moves selected nodes far to the right of the canvas and arranges them side by side. All connections are hidden to reduce clutter. As of writing, no official release has been published, so installation requires a manual clone into ComfyUI’s custom_nodes folder.
