Welcome to Local AI News.

This site is my attempt at 'keeping track' of the ever-growing releases of the free AI tools from the open source community. If you're here reading this, then you've probably had a hard time trying to follow everything. Well, you're not alone.

The issue is there's far too much hype and disorganization with poorly relayed information when something new releases. This site aims to cut out the noise and get straight to the point by delivering as much accurate information as possible. Whilst keeping it local and open source, of course.

This site is about

• Providing the latest news in free local AI releases (tools, models, datasets, training, etc.)
• Aggregating from various sources through semi-automation
• Focusing on real releases, updates and available projects that are WIP
• Tutorials, workflows, and troubleshooting

This site is not about

• Hype and speculation
• Closed source and subscription services
