Boogu-Image-0.1-Edit is an open-source image editing and transformation model that works alongside a broader multimodal generation family. This release allows users to perform complex editing tasks like object insertion, background replacement, and style transfer on existing pictures. The model supports resolutions up to 2K but provides the most stable results when generating at 1K.

The Boogu team who recently released Boogu Image they developed this Apache-2.0 licensed project to provide stable and practical capabilities for high-quality image editing. They focused on systematically improving understanding ability and data quality rather than relying heavily on reinforcement learning techniques. This approach gave users more control over generation while using a training data scale roughly one order of magnitude smaller than similar open-source models.
